What we do for christmas is wake up and take tea and  cookies to the other houses. We do that because we want to show our love to everyone. Later we would go and get changed to go to church. why we go to church is because so we can do our prayer so our god knows that we believe in him and he can bless us. Afterwards we would go home and make a fesat for the family to come and eat and for the speical people in the family.Before they come we set the table and and put the fork and spoon on table or the sometimes can use their hands to eat. Sometimes for our christmas in New zealand is opening presnt but for the real Tongans they don't have presnt because we are thankful for our family with us.Sometimes they always think can't have something over their family because if something elsa is speical then family then the fanily might think that person doesn't need them anymore. So they can kind of over think it and they stop loving that person.

Hi my name is Loloma I go to hornby high school and  I have register the summer learning so I can make my brain work faster and make my learning easier. [Digi Tech] Hurumanu Bullying

I choose  bullying because it's meaningful and it is a serious situation and it keeps happening so that's why it  need's to stop. It is problem because after is a small problem it turns into a really big problem.

What went well for me was doing the sketch thing and what went well for my team was writing about bullying.

The Twits

The first chapter explains  about how men have hairy faces and only can wash them only once  a week on sundays because it is really hard for them to wash their hair everyday cause it takes them an hour  to wash their hair .In chapter two it tells about Mr twit's thick  hairy face how it is growing from his forehead to his mouth like everything  is cover with thick hair because he does not wash his hair anymore because he  doesn't want to waste his time so he just leaves it.people think that Mr twit's hairy is terrifically because that how he looks like in his sixty's.chapter three explains about dirty breads might get smudgy if you don't wash them often enough and how it can be awful to have a smudgy bread not like us that we wash our breads all time in our lifetime.Sometime hairy faced men can eat  like dog or pigs because if he put a spoon into his mouth it will not fit in his so they use their hands to eat and sometimes when they eat the food sometimes get's stuck the hair or their teeth.

Friday 13 Sept

free writing 

During the week me and my friends were always lazy to walk so we went into the learning  comments and sat their for our whole lunch break but then we wanted to walk at the time so them we walked. As we walked we played and talked about my rugby game I had on Tuesday 10 of Sept and I played really and tried to get a try but I didn't but only a tackles. We had a great time playing and we all know we tried but we are still happy to play. Me and friend went to go and get a ball but their was no ball left so we had a great time together.

This week, what I noticed about my feelings and emotions was 10 out 10 because I had great time playing with my friend and come to school and seeing their  beautiful faces smiling at me and saying what are you doing and I feel happy to have friends at this school and I am proud to be at this school as well and I love this school as mine and I will try and show the four 

P.E Hurumanu

For todays blog I'm going to talk about what I did last week in P.E Hurumaun.  What we did was beach ball warm up's and what was for our warm up's were start jumps, high knees, sprints and sneak up on granny which was really fun at that time. The drills were kinda hard but I got though by not give and showing resilience and helping my other friends to don't give up as well. Our game in general was bench ball and because one group was teaching us how to play and how to do the warm ups. We go into two groups so one are the year seven's and one are the year eight's. We were playing with other class year sevens because they were the only year seven's with us . What I learned was how play with other people that you haven't played with before and to show our resilience and be happy.



For maths  we learned  length and width and because it was for the feld and how much money do we have to spend on the paint and how long do we have to paint for get how much money we are meant to get .The  task for me was really hard but my group helped me and I helped them back and what I learned was new strategies like diving and that all. I think the strategies I used was may take ways and addions which made us maybe got the wrong answer I think but we were still trying. 

CIP

Today in CIP we were working on  collecting pens and markers because it is for  help people that need the money for food and maybe for donations at our school and we can give money like the homeless that need it for food maybe . We are collecting because  so we can letter with them and make the pens ink will come out will make stants on the ground or if the ink comes out people will stand on the ink and then it will make the  have a stant. Please collect pens and markers and recycle them and tell our community to collect them as well and drop them off to Hornby High school .

 In Assembly all of the year sevens and eights came to the auotorm for assembly to meet Ella West  that came to visit us and tell us about the story she made us a big fan of. She told us about the book that we read Night Vision  it is about a girl the has some kidney do something like that could make her not go outside in the sun but only in the night. She made another book called Rain Fall and it is about a boy that was murder or something like that but she did talk to us about the sheep that when they have a tall is really bad so they have to cut it off

Last week me and circles were working on Array in the book called New Zealand Curriculum Mathematics on page 99-101. These were meant to help us with maths and to see how we are going in maths.

Their were three farmer's that had always wanted their farm to themselves but their was a fox that had always come at night to get some food for his family to eat because their was nowhere to go and get food for them so he had to steal from the farmer's. the farmer's were angry at the fox and wanted him killed and his family but they did not know that the fox had good sense and could smell if anyone is near of far away so on night he was going to steal he found out that the farmer's were near his house and he had to go back inside his and stay quiet because the farmer's had shotguns and they were ready to shoot the fox alive because that is they wanted to do. The fox heard them and stayed quiet for a little while and he tried to get back in his house but then the farmer shot his tail and then he ran back inside. His wife was licking his tail to make feel better so then they did not know what to do but to only dig a big hole to the other side. The three farmers thought that they got the fox but they didn't and they were so mad and had a big Idea that can kill the foxs family . The foxs family had already seen daylight shining through a hole right in front of them so they were digging until they made it out.

Today we were making posters for the All blacks. Those posters are to make them feel good and happy about the good work they  have done in their have done past years. We are happy for you guys even though you guys are falling behind does not mean we are not going to cheer for you guys but only one thing is to never stop believing in yourselves and keeping showing you resilience and team work. we are proud of you guys.

P.E Hurumanu

For this week P.E Hurumanu we did fitness testing and it was all about running and what we did for running was laps. When we did it people where giving up easily but we couldn't do anything to help them not give up. We run when we heard a beep go and  we doing good but the boy were Google at running but the girls were kinda good but at least we tried so we ran until we go tried and then we kept on fuming but I give on 3.7 and I was really tried and when I finished I could taste blood in my mouth and it was disgusting and I felt like I wanted die but we did some other fitness to keep is going we tried to stay in the green zone.



On Thursday fitness was really fun because we had to do some griping and it was really great because I was not shy to do it and for my results was 26. We did sit ups and we did an awesome job because some of us got the highest score like 15,16,17 and for my results was 15and it was really awesome doing that . For the high jump was kinda my thing but I tired it and I loved it and I wanted to try it again but we had to move on to the next on. For our sit reach was really fantastic because tall people with long legs could not reach that far but some of them took really long so we had to wait and do some fitness by our selfs. We had a great time with the teacher and I hope,I get a bigger score next time and more with other people.

How I did  I work successful with others was really great getting to know them better . How did I my actions and feelings affect others was not listening to what they were say and not doing the right thing and at the right time. How did to help someone who was struggling was on the sit and reach one and I help to put their legs down and relax and hold their legs down to make cheat and we did a fantastic job to help other make their day great.

For our CIP today we were working on what we could to help the All blacks get back to the first title and what happened to them and why is there players leaving their own team behind so what we did was right what we know and what we don't know for the first so we write what we found out and I write was why did Jonah Loum die and I just found out he had a kidney disease.

Mr fox chapter 2

Mr fox and the three farmers have a problem so how can we solve it. Mr fox is stealing from each farmer's barn like A duck , chicken and  turkey apple. firstly the fox asks his wife what should they eat for the night and the wife will only pick one thing to eat and might be duck ,chicken or turkey apple so then secondly he will smell if someone is near by. Then he will walk quietly into the farm and then he kill's it first and then he bring's it home for them to eat . but the farmers are angry at the fox and the want to kill him and his family or want him to stop and go and ask for food

Then everyone got clay to make their characters and then we used some cardboard and paint for our background.
	What I learned: I have learned to be organised at Art hurumanu and we learned how to make things out  of clay and cardboard and also we have learned to have some resilience. We have learned to stay in our group to help them and to make mistakes and start over. I learned to help one another and show resilience.
	What I enjoyed: What I enjoyed was when we worked on the voice and I enjoyed making clay animals and people and including the paint  because we had to paint the trees to make it look interesting. Then we painted the cardboard fully blue for our piranha and what I really enjoyed was getting some compliments from the teachers and talk to my group of where to put that and that.
	What I found difficult: Was how was going to which character and how we are going to do the voices because all of us where all sounding people that are lazy and don’t want to anything, but we got some help on how to make our voice sound like we are in the green zone  and not in the blue zone. Listening to other people ideas and using our manners and don’t \play around.  BY Loloma

Kids Can

Kids can's give the kiwi kids what they need and support the child . They help some kids to get into school if they don't go to or maybe home school. Kids can help them to study and help a child change their life . Kids can help a kids to learn how to share with others if they don't have food. Kids can make donations for the kids that need that money and to help kids that stay on the streets and roads. Kids can think that kids are very important and I think the same thing becaus kids are important for parents because kids can show their love so they children will show the love everyone. Kids can communicate with other kids and families to support that for they needs and try make something change in their life and please stand up and don't be a bystander becauseit will not help them.

Mufit day

Hello tomorrow we will have a mufti day including donating a gold coin for kids can because they are trying to raise money for kids that cannot afford their school clothes and the school shoes. Our theme RADICAL RAINBOW is like if you have group of friends that wear the rainbow colours that will RADICAL RAINBOW.  We made poster and stick them all over the school so if you see them then read them so you might know what to wear tomorrow and please bring  a gold coin to support kids can so no kids can buy their school suff. Kids can help kids because kids have to be safe and not sick.

MR Fox chapter 1

In Chapter 1 meeting the three characters

The three characters are the farms Boggis,Bunce and Bean. They are three farms that look after their farm well and the make disgusting food using turkey-and-Apple is What Bean uses to make him very skinny ,chickens what Boggis use to eat everyday and night and duck and goose is what Bunce to make his disgusting thing that makes him explod and crazy. Everyone of them are yuck that they can make want to BLAaa!!!! .

Art narrative wiriting

How the wolf and the piranha One great morning the wolf was so happy because they are going on a hunt to find their prey in the woods far away from home on their way he found a piranha in the forest too.The wolf was really hungry that he wanted to eat the piranha but he could not because then the piranha gave him some food for him and his family but he didn't give some to the family because he doesn't really like to share with his family but he will have less and they will have more so what he did with food he ate it all and went back. When he went with the piranha he said was the food good and he said really good and I ate it all by myself. The piranha was so kind that she said would you have some more if you would like. He said yes I love some more for myself and the piranha said you are really sad to your family. He said no Iam not because they always eat almost all of the food and leave me with less food to and that is unfair . The piranha said but that is alright because your family is the one that will always make food for you everyday and night just because they eat does not mean that you have to OK because that will just hurt their feelings. The wolf was sad that he wanted to cry but couldn’t because he was acting brave and trying not to cry but he felt sorry and then cried and went to his family and said that he was sorry for not sharing his food with them because he was mad that they didn't give him how much food that he wanted but they ate the most and he ate less. So the family forgive him and said that they are so sorry for eating all of the. So he went to the piranha and asked if wanted to eat with them and she said I would love to come and eat with your family. So the next day they were walking towards a wall that is eighteen feet tall.so what they did was think as the Piranha makes a rope with a sharp end to hold on tiered to the top of the wall so then they would climb the wall over to the other side of the wall. They all got over and kept on walking until they found their prey and they ran after their ran fast as they and caught it and they ate it as fast as they could they were like wow that was nice. So they moved and they went to the piranha house at the beach. Her house was made out of wood and water. Her food inside is fish and other things from the sea. When they went inside they were like wow what an interesting house to live in for years like forever but the piranha said only if his parents would let him that so that how they became friends. ART HURUMANU

Hello today I am going to tell you about my project witch is called How the wolf and piranha became friends. As this how it started we fristly made the wolf with clay including the piranha because so they would look real but it didn't t work out but we could use some help from the teacher in our a
art hurumanu class. Secondly we had to make a volcanoe for when there explodes happen. After a minutes we made an our water with paint and cardboard including our trees for the wolf to walk in so our story won't be bored for everyone. So we had to add people like two girls and two boys to make it interesting because we don't it to be bad but we want to look good. Right now we are kinda  behind but trying to catch up so we kinda made a mess so we made it look better. So why are doing this so it because so we can make storyboard. Storyboard is for our experience on how to learn how to make people or maybe animals . What we have been learning about is making clay things. How made is using hands right. We had to finish it but trying to catch up

My CIP work

In our CIP we have been learning how to be kind and give things to people that cannot afford something that they may need.In my first CIP we had to write about a team crew called the revolution team that came to our school and talked about the revolution and they did some dancing and singing for us so we feel it.In my second CIP we did some singing and writing about the wellbeing and we did great in that period because we were kinda focused on our but we finished it.My  third CIP was when we had a challenge that how ever makes a good drawing we will win a prize but we all didn't finish it so we had try and we kinda finished it but we all tried and then in our third period I Had an great singing group to help us sing as how we want our singing to be like. So as we moved on from we came back with IPad and did our work i didn't finish because I was to busy think I what to name the title and then  I got a name for it but I didn't finish it I will try finish it.  Sometimes when i try to work hard it's a  surggle for me sometimes I do CIP because i can't use an i pad like people can use better then me that's why we can keep on trying because that can help with you CIP because it maybe working if you try.
