Hi everyone today me and my class have been working on making an DLO about communicating from mars to earth and we made it with biteable .We made interesting animation and put in some good fact about mars and communication.  

Primary Source, and Second Source

Kai Ora For today's section we have been learn what are the meaning's about Primary Source and Second Source which have the same meanings but different explanations. So the Primary Source of information is recordings, interviews, newspaper articles, songs, books etc that have been done at the time of the event. Secondary Source means information gathered after an event like a copy of an book, textbook, documentary biography, or website.

Having friends that are backstabbing you and making front of you in front animals and letting you stand alone by yourself and them just being bystanders makes you disgusted and make that feeling get worse.You see them wanting to talk to them they push you down the ground and then you don't feel sad anymore stand back and punch them in the face . and the chase you down the grass field and run around and then you get them lost and you scare them and tell never to hurt you again but the next day they are at your house waiting for you to open the door and then feel like then didn't give and you grab a rope walk across it and then you fall and die .

Becoming a Martian

1. When can a mission to Mars (or from Mars) happen? Why?
   there. Any mission to Mars can only leave Earth – or return from Mars – every twenty-six months, when the two planets are at the closest point in their orbits.
2. What are two geological features of Mars?Valley and volcanoes, but red planets are by far the biggest and most dramatic.
3. What is one possible solution from the story about oxygen on Mars?Carbon dioxide (CO2 is made up of both carbon and oxygen
   
   
4. If it doesn’t rain on Mars, where does the water come from? The water comes from the ice you get from underground and heat it up
5. How will people get food on Mars? What is a possible solution?If settlers brought their own food, it would need to last for twenty-six months until the next supply rocket arrives.

My Learning Story / Poetic Art Hurumanu 4

 Malo Lelei ko hoku hingoa ko Loloma , koe ako kou alu kiai ko Hornby high school and and this whole term I've learned lots of Art and how to do it in what type of style I like. This Whole term we made amazing progress to get it finished in time and  we made this Art just to make our teacher proud and happy of what we learned from them and we learn just the right one .

Reflection: Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did:    We based all of our learning on the two stories from Te Taumutu Purakau - 'Th Creation of Tuna' and 'Taniwha and the Rakaia Gorge'. Tapa Cloth Weaving  Colouring water
What I Learned:  I learned how to make a Tongan Tapa cloth for the first time during school time .  Weaving teached me something different from what Islanders do in the pacific . Water colouring teached me how to splat, blend, salt, and dirp art.
My Favourite Part: My favourite part is painting it with brown water and letting it dry and making it look really cool . My favourite part is drawing our Maoir Art to add to it to make it look perfect just how it is . My favourite part for water colouring is the splat and the blending it together with different colours.
My Next Steps:  To work hard on my drawing because it failing when I draw patterns To listen well to Instructions so I make things right if I make a mistake   Learn how to blend in well within the colours to make it look amazing

Drama Freeze frame / Bok Choy

Hi Readers Today we have been working on our freeze framing on a true story called Bok Choy. We used six main points to the story to put into a freeze frame for our story.

Scenes:

1. Ah Sum selling vegetables to Jacobs mother

2.Jacob going to the river and falls in and drowns

3.Ah Sum saving him and taking him back to his hut 

4.Ah Ling Went to go get Jacobs mother and she came to the golden mountain

5.Mother taking his clothes down and walking with him home.

6.Gets stopped by William mother  

Art Hurumanu/ Tapa cloth

Hi Readers Today I am going to talk about how to make Tapa cloth and how use it in some kind of way in the tongan tradition. So Tongans have always made Tapa cloth for weddings and birthdays and all those sort of stuff and it takes them so in they have to go though a section where the bark that they use to make the Tapa has to left outside in the sea little period of time. And then their is period where they have to hit to smooth it out and connect to together hitting them together to then they stay together so when it comes to painting it won't fall apart. So after that section It painting time and we paint on out Tongan traditional art on to it sometimes leave it to dry and then we use for the floor.

So my class and our buddy class have been learning to make Tapa cloth and how we can make it with only paper. So first we got instructions from miss b and learned how draw tongan art and other Pacific Islanders art. We moved from that and drew it on to brown paper that we are going to on the wall for display. We finished Them and put them on our black paper that we are going to display all the work we done.

Water Colouring/ Hurumanu

Hello Everyone Today I have been learning how to do water colouring from miss B and she has been teaching how to do some contrast, and texture. So their was four tones we could do I think that what they were and one was called Dripping, Salt, Splat, and blend was an experiment we learned those four for Art Hurumanu which was really fun. So when I did my four I only used Two colours which was blue and green and they also blend well together and made it  beautiful. Well doing it with other people was great and well getting to know them well talking with them about what we are going to do in the weekends but this is not about that. Water colouring took us about a whole period to finish it so when I finished mine It ripped so it didn't worry me. So we finished our work and moved on to the next thing which was drawing.

Learning korean

So my experiment learning Korean is fun and Exciting because you get to know more about them and their culture food they eat, clothes they wear,Places they can go to. The most important about is that if you want to go to that place you got to know their law's and what they are not allowed to do. So if I want to go their someday I have to wait until I am older enough so when I go there I will know everything I can do and not. So when I learn Korean it kinda hard because I can't say it properly so I just keep in my mind so if I want to say I will just say it. When I learned how to Ann yeong haseyo it made me feel like I am Korean but I don't know all their words so I keep learning and learned how to Ye which means yes and how to say Ani which means no which was easy saying and yes. I have been learning these for a month and they just stay in my mind and joesong ha bnida which means sorry.
