Early Encounters in Aotearoa
The first European explorer to arrive in Aotearoa was Able Tasman and the year he arrived in Aotearoa was 1642. He named the land Nova New Zealandia . The next person who arrived was James cook and arrived in 1769 he had missions to complete and one was a secret from the British king I think.

Great work listing these facts about the early days in Aotearoa Loloma. Yes this is right. The British people came to explore unknown lands and claim land for Britain. I hope you continue to learn a lot about the history of New Zealand.
